Taylor Swift joined forces with her good friend, designer Stella McCartney, to release a fashion line that embodies the romantic spirit of the singer’s seventh album, ‘Lover.’ The pop star released the lookbook on Aug. 20, 2019, just three days before her seventh record’s release date! There was no shortage of pinks, purples, graffiti font and hearts on T-shirts, jackets, hoodies and more, as expected of a collection inspired by the empowering lyrics and pastel-heavy music videos that have accompanied ‘Lover.’
Two pieces from the collection, a $1,9995 bomber jacket and $795 handbag, will be sold as luxury items in the Stella McCartney stores in London and New York City. They will also be sold at Taylor’s ‘The Lover Experience’ pop-up shop in NYC between Aug. 23-25, 2019, along with the rest of the collection.
Taylor explained that she chose Stella as her design partner because there’s “so much whimsy and imagination and romance to the clothing that she designs” during an Instagram Live session in June 2019.
