Ex-Baywatch babe Yasmine Bleeth, 51, smiles as she walks dog 17 years after quitting Hollywood
FORMER Baywatch star Yasmine Bleeth was all smiles while making a rare public outing to walk her dog in Los Angeles.
The actress was a TV superstar in the 90s, thanks to her part as Caroline Holden in Baywatch, but hasn't been pictured in public in years.
Following struggles with substance abuse, the star retreated from public life and has rarely been seen over the past 17 years.
However, the 51-year-old appeared to be happy and content as she was spotted taking her dog for a walk.
The smiling star kept her look casual in a patterned maxi dress and brown sandals, which she teamed with a black zip up hoodie.
She tied her curly hair back into a loose ponytail and appeared to be makeup free for the outing.
Yasmine was one of Hollywood's hottest stars after she turned a guest appearance on the fourth season of Baywatch into a three-season stint on the show.
She filmed 72 episodes in total over the space of five years, as well as featuring in several spin-off films and TV shows.
Her star turn on the show helped launch her modelling career, and even led to the actress to release her own line of swimwear.
And while she continue to act, with roles in shows such as Nash Bridges and Titans, her behavior behind the scenes did damage to her career.
The actress' career fell apart due to substance abuse issues, with studios and directors blacklisting her because she was considered challenging to work with.
She eventually checked into the Malibu-based Promises Rehabilitation Clinic to overcome cocaine dependence.
However, she relapsed after leaving the clinic and ended up getting arrested in 2001 after police found cocaine in her car following a crash.
Yasmine - who hasn't acted since 2003 - admitted her guilt in court through a plea bargain and was sentenced to two years probation, and 100 hours of community service.

While she was in rehab, she met strip club owner Paul Cerrito and the pair tied the knot in August 2002.
The happy couple now split their time between Los Angeles and Scottsdale, Arizona.
